My contribution
As a Level Designer at Triant Games, I worked on the design and implementation of gameplay spaces for Fix Fixer, an action RPG with roguelike elements.
- Prepared level design documentation, asset lists, and 2D layouts before implementing gameplay spaces in-engine.
- Designed and iterated on core gameplay areas, exploring procedural level design approaches and refining gameplay flow.
- Owned the lighting setup, focusing on readability, atmosphere, and gameplay guidance.
- Supported playtesting by identifying gameplay and level-related issues and providing feedback throughout development.
Design focus
My work connected planning with implementation: documenting spaces, building them in-engine, and revisiting their flow through playtesting. Lighting was another part of that work, supporting how players read and experience the environment.
About the game
Fix Fixer puts the player in the role of Hephaestus’ handyman in a mythological action RPG. Its worlds combine combat, destruction, and procedural generation.
